What are you doing? Do you want to come over to your favorite LGBT Center? We’ll just watch Netflix and chill. Kicking off a new free film series, we’re screening the fabulous documentary, Tig, about out comedian Tig Notaro. This hilarious and uplifting film, an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival, follows Notaro as she faces a debilitating and mysterious illness, her mother’s death and a subsequent breast cancer diagnosis within a tumultuous four-month period. Tig’s search to make sense of it all forms a surprisingly uplifting film about one woman’s journey to find love and laughter even in the darkest of days. Admission and popcorn are free!
