MorningsOUT Senior Social

SPEAKER: "My Big Fat Gay Photo Hunt, or Who IS that in this Old Picture"- Bob Skiba, WWCC Archives

From 1982 until 2000, Au Courant was Philadelphia's "other”gay newspaper. When the paper folded in 2000, most of its photo collection of came to the LGBT Archives. They serve as rare documentation of nearly 20 years of gay life in Philly, covering pride parades, sporting events, bar parties and LGBT performances. Unfortunately, even if we can we identify the event, we are unable to identify most of the people. This is where YOU come in. Our Archives' Bob Skiba will bring in several boxes from  the collections, to have you try to identify friends, acquaintances, enemies or anyone from your past. We'll take a break just before noon for pizza – compliments of the Archives- and don't forget your reading glasses or magnifying glasses.

ALSO: If you have ANY MorningsOUT photos from around 2008 & earlier, could you bring them in for us to scan for Archives ?
